In addition to skiing and snowboarding, other winter activities include cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sleigh-rides, skating and tobogganing.

 

Summers activities
Whistler is a true four-season playground - in the summer, the thrill of adventure awaits you atop the mountains, on the water and through out the valley. With 5 sparkling lakes, rivers, paved trails and endless mountain trails, you can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, jet boating, rollerblading, rock climbing and much more.

Amidst the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia, just 120 km/75 miles north of Vancouver lies Whistler Resort, a charming village and home of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Whistler is of course famous for its year round activities, but it also offers world class summer and winter festivals and events, street entertainment, fine dining and a lively nightlife and endless browsing through boutiques, gift shops and art galleries.
